    Full Programme, Packed Halls: Messe Berlin’s Autumn Programme

    Strong brands, successful in-house events and international highlights through the end of the year.

    This autumn, the Berlin Exhibition Grounds will once again become a hub for innovation and personal encounters. With forward-looking in-house events and major guest trade shows, Messe Berlin’s programme spans topics ranging from smart government to sustainable water tourism, offering an extensive and diverse line-up for both trade professionals and the general public.

    Welcome to BOOT & FUN INWATER

    From 28 to 30 August 2026, Marina Havelauen in Werder (Havel) will once again open its jetties for the region’s major water sports highlight: BOOT & FUN INWATER. Across more than 15,000 square metres, over 150 boats will be on display, including the latest models from leading brands – from compact sports boats and day cruisers to premium motor yachts, electric boats and houseboats. Visitors can compare the wide range of vessels on site, test selected models on Lake Großer Zernsee and experience numerous premieres, including two world premieres from Brandenburg and several German premieres. An Olympic champion will also be among the guests.

    IFA 2026: A Stage for Tomorrow’s Technology Trends

    From 4 to 8 September, IFA will open its doors and once again become a global meeting place for the world of consumer electronics, home appliances and digital innovation. As the world’s largest event for Home & Consumer Tech, IFA showcases the technologies that will shape our everyday lives in the future – from smart living and AI applications to connected devices. Trade visitors, media representatives and technology enthusiasts can experience the latest product innovations first-hand, while leading brands and start-ups present their innovations on stage.

    Beyond the Berlin Exhibition Grounds, Messe Berlin’s autumn programme also features exciting events elsewhere. From 10 to 13 September 2026, the Mecklenburger Landwirtschaftsausstellung MeLa in Mühlengeez near Güstrow will serve as the central meeting place for the agricultural sector in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. The focus will be on state-of-the-art agricultural technology, barbecue and garden equipment, as well as a diverse showcase of animals. Around 60,000 visitors are expected at the extensive exhibition grounds.

    Global Mobility Industry Meeting at InnoTrans

    A milestone anniversary is approaching: this year, InnoTrans celebrates its 30th anniversary. The world’s leading trade fair for transport technology will turn Berlin into a hotspot for the future of mobility from 22 to 25 September. The opening ceremony, featuring speakers including Steffen Bilger, Federal Minister of Transport, and Apostolos Tzitzikostas, EU Commissioner for Sustainable Transport and Tourism, will be held under the motto “Mobility on a global scale – shaping projects and growth opportunities”.

    The anniversary edition of InnoTrans is fully booked and more international than ever. All exhibition halls will be occupied across 200,000 gross square metres, while more than 110 vehicles will be displayed on 3,500 metres of track. Nearly 200 world premieres, high-level dialogue forums, guided tours focusing on robotics and the debut of the international “AI On Track” hackathon will make InnoTrans 2026 more diverse, digital and sustainable than ever. At the previous edition two years ago, nearly 3,000 exhibitors attracted around 170,000 trade visitors.

    From Smart Government and Innovative Building Technology to the Android Community: Trade Shows Set New Trends

    From 7 to 9 October 2026, the international Android community will gather at CityCube Berlin for next.app devCon– the world’s leading event for Android developers. Over three days, participants can look forward to an intensive programme featuring around 120 sessions and workshops, more than 110 speakers and five parallel stages. The focus will be on the latest innovations, practical deep dives and intensive networking. Community events, hackathons and a special focus on Android Automotive will complement the programme, making next.app devcon a key platform for discussing the future of app development.

    From 13 to 15 October 2026, gedatec will present connected building technology under one roof at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds for the first time. As the successor to belektro, the new trade fair brings together the electrical, HVAC and roofing trades, reflecting the realities of modern buildings. Compared with belektro, the exhibition space has been significantly expanded, with efficient, connected and climate-friendly solutions taking centre stage across six halls. A practice-oriented supporting programme featuring forums and presentations, along with the E-Haus as a hands-on example of integrated systems technology, will make gedatec a key industry meeting place for industry, skilled trades and planners in Berlin and Brandenburg.

    Taking place at the same time, the Smart Country Convention from 13 to 15 October will focus on the digital transformation of government, cities and regions. Held under the patronage of the Federal Ministry for Digital Transformation and Government Modernisation and supported by the digital association Bitkom, #SCCON26 will bring together decision-makers from Germany’s federal, state and local levels in Berlin. An extensive stage programme covering topics such as data sovereignty, artificial intelligence and smart mobility, together with 400 partners from the digital economy, public authorities and municipalities, will bring the event to life across three exhibition halls.

    Portugal is the partner country for 2026. The southern European hidden champion will showcase its digital solutions and initiatives for the public sector. Portuguese Minister for State Reform Gonçalo Saraiva Matias and Federal Minister for Digital Transformation Dr Karsten Wildberger will jointly open the Smart Country Convention on 13 October 2026.

    Business Platform for the Automotive Supply Industry: IZB in Wolfsburg

    From 27 to 29 October, the international automotive supply industry will gather in Wolfsburg for the International Suppliers Fair IZB. Under the guiding theme “Powering Customer Driven Innovation – Speed. Quality. Partnership.”, hundreds of exhibitors from numerous countries will present innovative solutions and technologies. The International Suppliers Fair is an established industry meeting place for direct exchange between suppliers and manufacturers.

    Gifts from Around the World: Shopping at Bazaar Berlin

    Under the motto “Discover & Enjoy the World”, Bazaar Berlin invites visitors to browse, shop and explore beneath the Funkturm from 4 to 8 November.

    Unique jewellery made from Brazilian “golden grass”, rainforest pepper from Madagascar, handmade hats, headbands and scarves crafted from the finest alpaca and merino wool and inspired by the nature of Greece, natural cosmetics from Ghana, colourful designs from India, handmade ceramics from Estonia, Peruvian handicrafts and sweet honey specialities from Berlin and Brandenburg: around 500 exhibitors from more than 60 countries will transform the exhibition halls into a colourful marketplace filled with beautiful things.

    Creative hands-on workshops for all ages, live craftsmanship, captivating dance groups and inspiring fashion shows will round off the programme.

    OutVenture for Water Sports and Outdoor Activities

    A popular late-autumn attraction is OutVenture Berlin, bringing a variety of leisure and adventure worlds to the capital at the end of November. From boating and fishing to camping, off-road adventures, bikes and new living concepts, adventure seekers will find plenty to explore across around 90,000 square metres of exhibition space from 26 to 29 November 2026.

    BOOT & FUN (26–29 November) will become a paradise for boats, water sports and lifestyle. Elegant yachts, innovative propulsion and navigation technology, water sports equipment, accessories and tourism offers will showcase the many ways to enjoy leisure time on the water.

    ANGELWELT (27–29 November) is a must-attend event for recreational and sport anglers, featuring an extensive product range, leading brands and well-known personalities from the fishing community. Interactive testing areas, workshops and stage programmes create a lively trade fair experience for beginners and experienced anglers alike.

    CARAVAN & CAMPING (26–29 November) will showcase motorhomes, caravans, camper vans and accessories. Featuring the latest models, trends and practical solutions, this experience world will inspire everyone who loves mobile travel and outdoor living.

    OFFROAD & NATURE (26–29 November) invites visitors to discover adventure and nature. 4x4, overlanding, bike adventure, hiking and hunting meet the latest equipment, trends and expert insights – providing inspiration for everyone looking to venture off the beaten track.

    The four experience worlds will be complemented by trend topics covering leisure, mobility and modern living. NEUES WOHNEN (26–29 November) will focus on innovative living concepts and new ideas for flexible, mobile and modern lifestyles. Motorcycle enthusiasts will also find plenty to enjoy at BIKE DAYS BERLIN (27–29 November). For three days, the whole of Hall 26 will be dedicated to new motorcycles, exclusive custom bikes, innovative motorcycle accessories and an action-packed live programme.

    Hosting The World International: Messe Berlin’s Events Abroad

    ITB India, the trade show for the travel and tourism industry on the Indian subcontinent, will take place in Mumbai from 1 to 3 September. ASIA FRUIT LOGISTICA, Asia’s leading trade show for the fresh produce business, will open its doors in Hong Kong from 2 to 4 September.

    ITB Asia, Asia’s leading travel trade show, will take place in Singapore from 21 to 23 October. MICE Show Asia and Travel Tech Asia will be held in parallel with ITB Asia.

    From 3 to 5 November, the China International MICE Exchange (CIMX) will celebrate its premiere as a B2B trade show and networking platform for the international MICE industry. ITB Americas will also make its debut from 10 to 12 November in Guadalajara, Mexico.

    Messe Berlin Offers a Wide-Ranging Congress Programme

    In addition to the trade fairs and events organised by Messe Berlin, numerous high-profile medical and scientific congresses as well as other events will take place at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds this autumn. Here is an excerpt from the events calendar:

    BCB – Bar Convent Berlin International Bar and Beverage Trade Show (12–14 October)

    Bar Convent Berlin is the leading trade show for the international bar and beverage industry. Bartenders, hospitality professionals, spirits producers and beverage brands come together in Berlin to discover new products, trends and concepts related to mixing and enjoying drinks. Tastings, talks and networking are key elements of the event.

    Stuzubi Study and Training Fair (17 October)

    The Stuzubi career fair is aimed at school students looking for information about vocational training, university studies or dual study programmes. Universities, companies and institutions from across Germany provide advice on career prospects, application procedures and choosing the right course of study. Admission is free.

    DKOU Congress 2026 for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery (20–23 October)

    DKOU is Europe’s largest congress for orthopaedics and trauma surgery. Physicians, nursing professionals, therapists and experts from research, industry and politics come together in Berlin to discuss the latest developments, healthcare models and scientific findings.

    VENUS – International Trade Fair for Erotic & Lifestyle (22–25 October)

    VENUS is Europe’s largest trade fair for erotic products, lifestyle and adult entertainment. International exhibitors from the fields of toys, lingerie, media, fetish, film and technology attract a broad audience of trade professionals and consumers. Shows, stage programmes and prominent guests from the industry complement the exhibition.

    MEX Manga & Entertainment Expo (23–25 October)

    MEX Berlin – Manga & Entertainment Expo – invites visitors to the exhibition halls beneath the Funkturm. Anime, manga, cosplay, gaming and K-culture meet a diverse stage programme, Artist Alley and the popular Japanese Garden, creating a colourful festival for fans and the community.

    SAP TechEd Berlin & Virtual (27–29 October)

    SAP TechEd is aimed at developers, architects, IT professionals and SAP partners worldwide. The focus is on technological innovations relating to the SAP Business Technology Platform, artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure and application development – live in Berlin and simultaneously accessible digitally around the world.

    DGN Congress of the German Society of Neurology (4–7 November)

    The 99th Annual Congress of the DGN brings together neurologists from clinical practice, research and healthcare. The focus is on the latest findings in the diagnosis, treatment and care of neurological diseases – from epilepsy and stroke to dementia.

    German Nursing Day 2026 (12–13 November)

    As Germany’s leading event for the nursing sector, German Nursing Day brings together nursing professionals, decision-makers, associations and policymakers. Topics including workforce strategy in nursing, digitalisation, professional policy and working conditions are at the heart of the interdisciplinary dialogue.

    ESMO AI & Digital Oncology Congress 2026 (16–18 November)

    The ESMO AI & Digital Oncology Congress brings international experts from oncology and digital health to CityCube Berlin. The focus is on current research, ethical issues and technological innovations relating to artificial intelligence and digital solutions in cancer medicine – making it a key meeting place for discussions about the digital transformation of oncology.

    DGPPN Congress 2026 of the German Association for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics (25–28 November)

    The congress of the German Association for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics is Europe’s largest specialist congress for mental health. With more than 9,000 participants, the event addresses key topics including healthcare research, ethics, mental health crises, prevention and socio-political developments.
