Messe Berlin appoints Kleopatra Tümmler as Head of Event Services
More than 25 years of experience in the event industry strengthen a key service division of the company.
Messe Berlin has appointed Kleopatra Tümmler as the new Head of Event Services, effective June 1, 2026. In her new role, she will be responsible for Event Services, a key service division of Messe Berlin, and will drive the further development of event and service processes for both national and international guest events as well as Messe Berlin’s own events.
Kleopatra Tümmler brings more than 25 years of experience in the event, cultural and media industries. Her professional career has spanned international music and television productions, tour and artist management, and the leadership of complex large-scale projects in the public sector. Her previous positions include production and tour management for internationally renowned artists and productions such as A-ha, Tokio Hotel and Take That, as well as senior roles in television and live production. Over the past five years, she has also been responsible for complex large-scale projects at the site of the former Tegel Airport, including the vaccination center and the Ukraine Arrival Center.

Around 100 employees work in the Event Services division. The department is responsible for technical event production and coordinates key services such as venue management, logistics, cleaning and security services. It therefore provides an essential foundation for the successful delivery of events at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.
Kleopatra Tümmler succeeds Thomas Wilke, who has led the Event Services division since 2012. Until his retirement, he will support the handover process over the coming months and help ensure a smooth transition.
