It alI started before the fall of the Berlin Wall in the ICC Berlin, my "spaceship" for congresses and concerts, which had to close in 2014. My events then moved to the CityCube and the halls in the southern area of the grounds, where the imposing South Entrance has been welcoming international guests with its impressive architecture ever since.
I associate many childhood memories with my playground. In the past, the ice rink was located here, where I often went to the ice disco, and I experienced my first rock concerts in the adjacent Deutschlandhalle. David Bowie played one of his legendary gigs here in 1976.
Even though it was an exciting time back then, the major international congresses, the many events and the countless film shoots have an immense appeal for Berlin, today, and are a challenging task that I take great pleasure in.
