As a native Berliner who grew up not far from the exhibition grounds, it was quickly clear to me that the Radio Tower was my playground. I still remember as a child, when I came back from vacation by car with my family, playing the game "Who sees the Radio Tower first".
Today, my kids keep an eye out for the Radio Tower when we're on our way home. So it's a piece of home for all of us!
