Travelling to the exhibition grounds

How do I get to the exhibition grounds?

Urban transport links to the exhibition grounds are excellent. There are taxi ranks, underground/ light rail stations and bus stops next to our entrances.

An urban motorway close to the centrally located exhibition grounds provides a direct link with Berlin 's international airports. A total of 12,000 parking spaces are available on and around the grounds.

Who must I contact if I want to take part in a Messe Berlin trade fair abroad?

Our subsidiaries Messe Berlin Singapore Pte. Ltd. in Singapore , Global Produce Events GmbH in Bangkok , our 72 foreign representatives around the world, and we ourselves, guarantee that exhibitors and visitors can always find a knowledgeable local contact, not only for Messe Berlin events and trade fairs and congresses in Berlin , but also for the respective trade fairs abroad.

Looking for exhibitors

How can I find out whether a particular exhibitor is taking part in an event?

You can find all the exhibitors at Virtual Market Place® finden. A search function lets you inquire by exhibitor name, sector and other parameters. Information is updated on a regular basis.

Entering the grounds with a vehicle

How do I obtain permission to enter the exhibition grounds with a vehicle?

As an exhibitor you can enter the grounds with a vehicle during trade fair opening times. Our "Service & Technik" Division will assist.

Radio Tower

What are the opening hours of the Radio Tower?

The Radio Tower opens on Mondays from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and from Tuesdays to Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Please note that in the event of bad weather and for technical reasons the observation deck may be temporarily closed. You can also find out the opening times by calling +49 (0) 30 30 38 1905.

How tall is the Radio Tower?

From its base to the tip of its aerial the Radio Tower measures 150 metres in height. The observation deck is located 126 metres above ground.
The Radio Tower Restaurant has an excellent cuisine, at 55 metres above ground.

Radio Tower Restaurant

Can I book the Radio Tower Restaurant?

You are welcome to book the Radio Tower Restaurant for your events, as well as the new Radio Tower Lounge located at the foot of the tower. For more details click Radio Tower Restaurant

What are the opening hours of the Radio Tower Restaurant?

The restaurant is open from Wednesdays to Sundays from 11.30 a.m. to 11 p.m.
On Tuesdays the restaurants opens at 6 p.m.
On Mondays the restaurant remains closed. However it can be opened upon request.

Evaluating the effectiveness of trade fair participation

I am not sure whether taking part in a trade fair will be worth my while.

Messe Berlin can specifically evaluate your trade fair participation. A special trade fair calculator can individually measure the scale of your trade fair success based on objective criteria, in easy steps and in euros and cents. What trade fairs does Messe Berlin have to offer? Where can I find a complete list?

Our mainly international programme of trade fair events is very wide-ranging: The Messe Berlin programme contains many highlights, covering topics such as food, travel, transport and consumer electronics.

You probably already know the International Tourism Exchange ITB Berlin, the International Green Week, the IFA and Popkomm.

Does Messe Berlin offer trainee positions and places at university?

In collaboration with the Ravensburg Career Academy we offer a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) course that specialises in trade fair, congress and event management.

How do I obtain accreditation?

At Messe Berlin you can also easily obtain accreditation online. Find out more under the section heading Accreditation

How do I find the right press officer for the trade fair in question?

On the website of the trade fair in question, under the heading "Press Info", a section lists the contact you require.

Use the "Current Trade Fairs" or "All Trade Fairs" quick-entry feature, or the Calendar function to access the trade fair websites.

Smoking

Is smoking allowed on the exhibition grounds?

Since 1 January 2008, following the introduction of German law protecting non-smokers, a strict smoking ban has come into force on the entire exhibition grounds, including in the ICC. We therefore request that you confine smoking to specially designated areas. Thank you for your cooperation.

Where can I purchase tickets for a trade fair?

There are several ways of buying a ticket.

You can either buy your ticket online from the comfort of your home, or from the ticket offices, or from various advance sales outlets. With our online ticketing system you can avoid waiting times at the entrances.
